EP has worked closely with the Town of North Andover since Fall 2018, when gas explosions caused major disruptions to the town as well as the Town of Andover and the City of Lawrence.
Since that time, EP has assisted the Town with rebuilding 15 miles of gas-impacted roads back together, not only restoring existing conditions but also incorporating traffic calming, accessibility, and safety improvements.
This summer, construction was completed on the segment of Waverly Road from Massachusetts Avenue to Norman Road, providing improved accommodations for pedestrians and motorists around Pvt. Albert E. Thompson Elementary School. Notably, new curb extensions, crosswalk markings, and pedestrian signage were installed at the crosswalk directly in front of the school.
