Construction of the new Hill Street Water Storage Tank in Foxborough is finished! The 1.15 million gallon prestressed concrete ground storage tank houses all electrical, I&C, sampling and emergency chlorination equipment and was constructed adjacent to the Town’s only existing storage tank, proposing the challenge of keeping the existing tank online.
With the additional storage capacity the new tank provides for high demand periods and storage redundancy, the Town is now able to take their existing tank offline in the future for maintenance.
